I‘m working with iCESM1.2 F1850C5 compset, with water isotope enabled in CAM5.
I'm wondering how the oxygen isotope flux from the ocean into CAM is determined, with given ocean SST and sea ice.
In modern observations, the sea surface d18O varies between basins. Do I have to add sea surface d18O information to somewhere, in water isotope enabled F1850C5 run?
