Hi,
I am in the process of ordering server(s) to run CESM, therefore I wanted to ask if there an "ideal" setup, i.e., number of cores, types of hardware, that can be recommended?
I expect to be running with Rocky8 or 9 and will be able to get 1 or 2 servers for testing and model development in-house (and to run some simulations on if not submitting to HPC centers).
The simulations would be CESM climate runs with future scenarios from now until the end of the century (or selected decades) with interactive chemistry.
Thanks,
