I am looking for an initial conditions file to run CAM-CHEM with fixed ocean and offline dynamics using the original resolution MERRA met fields. [F_SD_CAMCHEM compset and f05_f05 resolution.]
The model parameters are: plev = 56 plon = 576 plat = 384
I can find initial conditions files with plev = 30 plon = 576 plat = 384.... but not plev = 56.
My assumption is that the initial conditions can be arbitrary (as long as it has the appropriate dimensions) if given enough spin-up time.
Any ideas?
