Inquiry Regarding CESM Post-processing Tool Compatibility with NERSC Machine

Hi,

I would like to use the CESM post-processing code (GitHub - NCAR/CESM_postprocessing: Project repository for the CESM python based post-processing code, documentation and issues tracking.) to post-process my CLM outputs. However, based on my understanding from reading the user guide, it seems that this tool can only be used on the CESM supported machines. Unfortunately, I only have an account on NERSC. Therefore, I was wondering if there is an available version of this tool that can be used on machines other than the CESM-supported ones, such as NERSC.

Thank you very much!

I'm not aware of the use of the CESM postprocessing tool on other machines. You could try posting on the diagnostics forum to see if anyone uses it at NERSC. The CESM postprocessing tool has not officially been supported for a while, even on cheyenne and casper. There are some efforts ongoing to get it working on casper however as a bridge until newer diagnostics packages have been fully developed.
