Is TAUX or TAUY make sense in land area?

Hi, I want to modify the input TAUX and TAUY when they are passed to ocn. But I found that in the output of ocn component there is no values in TAUX and TAUY in land area. But when I use different valus in TAUX and TAUY in land area, the model result will be different as well. So I want to ask in the ocn part, is TAUX or TAUY in land area make any sense？
