What version of the code are you using?
I am using a CESM2.2-MOSAIC sandbox (Use MOSAIC scheme in CESM/CAM-chem - CAM-Chem - wiki.ucar.edu)
Describe your problem or question:
I created an FCHIST case using the CESM2.2-MOSAIC. By default, this sandbox is configured with the TS1.1 gas-phase chemistry mechanism. However, for my current research project, I need to use the more comprehensive MOZART-TS2 chemistry mechanism while keeping the MOSAIC/simpleVBS aerosol scheme active.
Since -usr_mech_infile takes precedence and the available .in file in my sandbox is built for TS1.1, simply changing the -chem option to trop_strat_mam4_ts2 results in initialization errors (e.g., missing biogenic emissions like APIN which are introduced in TS2).
I would like to ask:
Thank you very much for your time and help.

I would like to ask:
- Is there an existing CESM2-MOSAIC branch or a pre-configured .in mechanism file (e.g., TS2_simpleVBS_MOSAIC.in) that has already paired the TS2 gas-phase chemistry with the MOSAIC/VBS scheme?
- If not, are there any specific guidelines, reference repositories, or common pitfalls I should be aware of if I attempt to manually merge the standard trop_strat_mam4_ts2.in with the MOSAIC/VBS species and reactions?
Thank you very much for your time and help.
