Issue when F compset F1850CN is executed with coupled Slab Ocean Model (SOM)

Hello,I am getting 2K warming in doubled CO2 climate in cesm1.0.3. But a recent paper http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/pdf/10.1175/JCLI-D-11-00622.1 mentioned a warming of 3.1K (Table 1).I do not understand this as we both used CAM4 physics.Basically, I ran a slab ocean simulation using F1850CN instead of directly using the E compset. For the same, I change the env_conf.xml as follows....

....While I was building, it downloaded the respective SOM inputdata files-DOMAINFILE = /home/sirisha/cesm_inputdata//atm/cam/ocnfrac/domain.camocn.1.9x2.5_gx1v6_090403.nc
domain1 = /home/sirisha/cesm_inputdata//ocn/docn7/SOM/pop_frc.1x1d.090130.nc
file1 = /home/sirisha/cesm_inputdata//ocn/docn7/SOM/pop_frc.1x1d.090130.ncIt would be great if somebody can help me to understand this issue.RegardsAngshuman
