issue with configuring CAM4

Hi all,

I created a CAM4 case for which I am trying to output hourly ,daily and monthly outputs
(mfilt = 1, 365, 8760
nhtfrq = 0, -24, -1
avgflag_pertape = 'A','A','A').
When I try to configure the case by issuing cesm_seup on yellowstone, seems like my session freezes during Running preview_namelist script and then I my session gets terminated due to memory over subscription. I even tried to submit a batch script and do the configuration on geyser but I faced the same problem. Dose anybody have a same experience or know why is this? and how to solve the problem?

Before, I was able to successfully configure, build and run the same case with daily and monthly output
(mfilt = 1, 365
nhtfrq = 0, -24
avgflag_pertape = 'A','A').

Now, just adding the third fincl for hourly output is causing me this problem. I appreciate your feedback on how to solve this problem.

What CESM version are you using?Please post your user_nl_cam file.

Hi Jim,Actually, this time that I tried I was able to configure and run the case suscsefuly, and there was no problem. So, I do not know what caused the problem last time, maybe a bad node.Thansk for following up,Arezoo
