Job status is run, but there is no data output. Why? And how to solve it?

I have submitted a case on CESM. And it ran successfully at first. After few hours I checked the job status and finded it was still running, but there is no data output in the run file. Why? And How I can solve this problem?

What version of the code and what machine? Sounds like it is hanging. What does it say in the cesm.log file?

CESM 2.1.3 run on Tianhe Supercomputer, there were no errors in cesm.log file, and I checked the job status it was still running. Very confusing.

Try doing:

./case.build --clean-all

xmlchange DEBUG=TRUE

and rebuild.
