MARBL error

Hi falks,

I am running a simulation of XXI century with: --compset BSSP585cmip6 --res f09_g17 beginning in 2015. When the model arrives to 2098 I get an error in MARBL

Hi Agustin,
So it's difficult to be sure without more information, but there is an instability that occurs in the ocean in CESM 2.1 under high CO2 conditions. The way to address this is to increase the ocean time step. Typically, when we see this instability, we shorten the ocean time step by half. If you have already done this, or don't think that's the issue here, more information about your experiment would be helpful.
