missing timing files in cesm1.2.2

We just ported the cesm1.2.2 on a new machine, and I was trying to get some benchmarking runs,but the  timings files which are saved usualy in the CASE directory upon completion of the run in timing/ccsm_timing.$CASENAME are missing.I only get the timings saved in the RUN directory the ccsm_timing_statsI have the two timings option in env_run.xml set to TRUE: Is there something else I need to turn on?

I am also facing the same problem in my CESM 1.2.2 model. In my test cases, only $CASEROOT/run/timing/ccsm_timing_status is created mostly except in only one test case $CASEROOT/timing/ccsm_timing.$CASE.$date is created. But I don't know how it got created in the later case. The contents of both cases are totally different. I have attached the both files for reference.

I tried opening the above link, but it's not working.

How to solve this issue.
