NetCDF: Invalid dimension ID or name

Hi  everyone,  I was running the CESM 1.2.2 with CLM 4.5 land model. When I come to the last step, "./test_40_CN.run ", there have some errors below: CESM BUILDNML SCRIPT STARTING - To prestage restarts, untar a restart.tar file into /scratch/user/pengxq2015/cesm/test_40_CN/run infile is /scratch/user/pengxq2015/test_40_CN/Buildconf/cplconf/cesm_namelist CLM configure done.adding clm user file defaults for var fsurdat with val /scratch/user/pengxq2015/inputdata/lnd/clm2/surfdata_map/surfdata_40x40_CN_simyr2000_cesm1_2_x_clm4_5.nc CLM adding use_case 2000_control defaults for var sim_year with val 2000 CLM adding use_case 2000_control defaults for var sim_year_range with val constant CLM adding use_case 2000_control defaults for var use_case_desc with val Conditions to simulate 2000 land-use  CESM BUILDNML SCRIPT HAS FINISHED SUCCESSFULLY-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CESM PRESTAGE SCRIPT STARTING - Case input data directory, DIN_LOC_ROOT, is /scratch/user/pengxq2015/inputdata - Checking the existence of input datasets in DIN_LOC_ROOT CESM PRESTAGE SCRIPT HAS FINISHED SUCCESSFULLY-------------------------------------------------------------------------Fri Dec  4 16:05:47 CST 2015 -- CSM EXECUTION BEGINS HEREFri Dec  4 16:05:51 CST 2015 -- CSM EXECUTION HAS FINISHED Model did not complete - see /scratch/user/pengxq2015/cesm/test_40_CN/run/cesm.log.151204-160513 The attachment file is the "cesm.log.151204-160513".
I do not know how to solve the error. Can you help me?

Hello, I think you should try with more number of npes (processesor/core) . The error may be due to shortage of resources/memories .

I suspect that it is your file /scratch/user/pengxq2015/inputdata/lnd/clm2/surfdata_map/surfdata_40x40_CN_simyr2000_cesm1_2_x_clm4_5.nc that is the issue. To test this, you could try to run with the default (for 5 days) and see if the runs completes
