New compset from 1850 to 2100 (RCP8.5)

Hi all,I'm creating a new compset for CESM that include the transient period (1850-2005) and the scenario period from RCP8.5 scenario (2005-2100).To make this I merged the two radiative forcing series for CAM for the two periods but I noticed that there was a discontinuity between  the common years (2000 and 2005). I expected that these timesteps had the same values. Could someone help me about this please?
