Hi, everyone. I want to conduct experiments with dynamic vegetation using CESM1.0.4. The aim is to check if the vegetation type would change under the response of atmosphere and ocean. I am not familiar with the clm model, so I follow the clm userguide to realize it.
First, sets CLM_CONFIG_OPTS to "-bgc cndv" in env_conf.xml. And then, configure, build and submit. The experiment can run successfully. But there are no vegetation type or related variables in the output file. I can only find 'PFT_CTRUNC', 'PFT_FIRE_CLOSS', 'PFT_FIRE_NLOSS', which contain 'pft' characters.
I am not sure if I should modify the clm namelist or something. If so, which variable should be added?
By the way, the input datalists are default. Should I alter them in a CNDV experiment?
Any suggestions would be helpful to me. Thank you!
