Optimal Performance of CESM Run on NERSC Edison

Dear All, I just started learning CESM and trying running it on NERSC Edison. I already played with it using the B1850CN on Edison and plan to try out different configurations for best model performance. I also finished reading CESM User's Guide Chapter 4 - Running CESM. I understand I can try to decrease the idle time of each component of CESM and find out the best configuration, but it is very very human time-consuming to perform the experiment.Does anyone have the experience of finding out the best configurations for running CESM on Edison? Can anyone provide a good MPI/OpenMP setups? I'll really appreciate it. Many Thanks. Best Regards,Aaron
