Porting Error: "Expected one child"

Dear Sir/ Madam               I am trying to port CESM2 model in desktop having LINUX platform. I have changed the sampleconfig_machine.xml and config_compilers.xml based on my sysstem and when I am creating new case I am getting error like expected one child. I was also getting the "ERROR: Expected one child" I copied the whole template file to my ~/.cime directory. I removed the  and   lines from the template file and this seemed to fix the problem.  Here are my config_batch.xml, config_compilers.xml, config_machines.xml for our machine "Oscar" that uses slurm. https://github.com/hkershaw-brown/oscar_cimeHope this helps!
