Request for CESM2 Data: Historical and Future Scenarios

Hello,

I am a PhD student working on research that requires CESM2 model data for the Northern Great Plains. My focus is on understanding precipitation variability and its drivers under both historical and future scenarios.

Ideally, I need the following variables at monthly temporal resolution and 0.5° spatial resolution:

• Sea Surface Temperature (SST)
• Geopotential Heights (GPH, 100mb to 1000mb)
• Specific Humidity (q, 100mb to 1000mb)
• Zonal Winds (u, 100mb to 1000mb)
• Meridional Winds (v, 100mb to 1000mb)
• Precipitation

Time Period:

• Historical
• Future scenarios

I came across the CESM2 Large Ensemble Community Project (LENS2) and have reviewed the output variables page, but I’m unsure how to access the relevant datasets or proceed further.

Could you kindly guide me on how to access the data or point me to the appropriate resources or contacts at NCAR?
