restart file for ensemble simulation

Hello, I am running CMIP5 RCP simulations from 2005 to 2050 using CESM1.2.0. The compset is BRCP45CN and the model resolution is 1.9x2.5. In my simulation, the restart set is 2005-01-01 of  b40.20th.track1.2deg.001 simulation. Now I want to run some ensemble simulations, but I only have one restart set (2005-01-01 of b40.20th.track1.2deg.001). As I know, the ensemble simulation should using different initial condition. So I run RCP simulation for one year and get new restart set (2006-01-01 of RCP experiment).  I want to run ensemble simulation using this 2006-01-01 restart set.Is this restart set ok for ensemble run ?  if not, how should I run ensemble simulations ? Thanks

You can use the namelist variable pertlim.Perturb the initial conditions for temperature randomly by up to the given
amount. Only applied for initial simulations.
Default: 0.0
