Restart files for CMIP6 CESM2.1 pre-industrial control run

No. For a control run, the choice of year is arbitrary. You can assign the start date of any run to any year.



Those runs had different initial conditions from the 1850 control.

Hi strandwg, Could you share me the restart files of the case(b.e21.B1850.f09_g17.CMIP6-piControl.001), I have not an NCAR account to access the files via Globus. And the shared files have expired. I wish I can get some restart files of end of the control experiment. Thanks for your help.

In the interest of getting you this file quickly until I can come up with a better solution, I've made the last restart, model year 2001, available via anonymous ftp, at
