run pop2 in 1D dynamics mode

Hi all,

I found there are some namelist variables are related to "run pop2 in 1D dynamics mode" (e.g., 'l1Ddyn'), but I did not find any information about this 1D dynamics mode. For example, what are the physics processes of the 1D mode? Is it similar to a 1D mixed-layer ocean model? How to run pop2 in this 1D mode and how to couple it with CAM?
