Running CAM Chem in Quasi CTM mode

Dear Forum,

I ran 2 simulations with CESM 1.2 CAM-Chem ‘s FMOZ compset starting from 2009-07.
  • 1) Standard FMOZ run
  • 2) FMOZ but with a modified chemical mechanism
In both simulations, I turned off the radiation feedback from chemical tracers by setting: chem_rad_passive = .true
I notice that in spite of turning off this radiation feedback, there is a difference between the simulated meteorology between simulations 1) and 2)

May I know what else, other than radiation feedback, could cause the difference in the simulated meteorology?
