Saving MOM6 diagnostics with half horizontal resolution

Hello! We have been trying to set up MOM6 to save ocean diagnostics with half the model horizontal resolution. (for reference, using the mom_diag_remap module, and horizontally_average_diag_field() function) However, we cannot find which flag/option needs to be set to true in MOM_input to activate this module (already looked into MOM_parameter_doc.all). Did anyone try that before and have a hint on how to do it?

The function you highlighted is used to calculate a global horizontal average in a particular diagnostic vertical coordinate. That horizontally averaged diagnostic has `_xyave` attached to the variable name in the diag_table, see MOM6-examples/ocean_only/global_ALE/z/available_diags.000000 at dev/gfdl · NOAA-GFDL/MOM6-examples, for example.

To access the half-reduced data add `_d2` to the module name in the diag_table (e.g. "ocean_model_d2" or "ocean_model_z_d2").
