SCAM can't run when scm_lat > 30???

So I've noticed a weird problem. When using arm 1995 data, and set scm_lat to 36N, the model gives a floating point exception, or floating point overflow, depending on what latitude I give it. If I set it to 25 or anything closer to the equator it runs fine.

Anyone have any idea why the model would be so picky?

I'm using CESM version 1.0.2.

Thanks,
Walter
