I would like to download global N₂O mixing ratio data from the WACCM output available online. I was wondering if there is a way to download only the variable(s) I need, in this case, N₂O, without having to download the other variables.
Because even a single month of WACCM output is around 300 GB, so downloading the complete dataset just to extract N₂O locally is quite resource-intensive.
If there is no other way, I also wanted to ask the data management team whether it would be possible to provide a selective-download feature, allowing users to download only specific variables from the dataset. This could significantly reduce the required storage, bandwidth, and download time for users who only need a subset of the available variables.
