Sudden drop in ice thickness from Icepack

Hi All,

I'm using the latest version of Icepack to run a test case with CFS atm forcing downloaded from Wiki. The predicted ice thickness had a sudden drop around 11/2015. What could be the cause of this strange drop of ice thickness? The test case was generated using "icepack.setup -c caseA". All the parameters in the icepack_in are default. Really appreciate your suggestions on how to fix this issue. Thanks.

Because this is a simple column model, there are definitely some unusual abrupt drops and increases like this. Have a look at the snow depth and ice concentration time series and you will see similar things.

Thanks. Yes. This also appears in the snow depth. Sometimes the drop is very significant. Is there any way to fix this issue? What is the cause of it? Looks the surface temperature also has such sudden change. Thank you.
