trouble on Bluefire---/ptmp replace by /glade/scratch

Recently it seems that the /ptmp can not be use when you create a new
case running on bluefire. Instead.
/glade/scratch will be used.

However, when I create a new case using create_newcase, in all the configure files, the /ptmp is still used.
So I guess that I have to check one by one and replace /ptmp by
/glade/scratch by hand. Is there a list of which configuration files I
need to change and what is the general procedure to do that?

Thanks

Hi Yilun,

I think you can set the environmental variables for these directory paths in the file '[CESM top directory]/scripts/ccsm_utils/Machines/config_machines.xml'. You can find the settings for bluefire and change them there.
They look like (from my CESM1.0.3):

And thank you for letting us know about ptmp directory. I guess I have to change them, too.
