Unable to Locate 6-hourly MSLP from Historical CESM2

Hello!

I am currently working with 6-hourly output from a historical CESM2 run that I'm using Casper to access via NCAR. I've been able to find all variables I need except for mean sea level pressure, and I'm wondering if someone might be able to let me know if 6-hourly mean sea level pressure from this historical simulation is available anywhere?

For context, I have looked in the following directories on Casper, and have not been able to find 6-hourly mean sea level pressure (although 6-hourly surface pressure (ps) is there):

/glade/campaign/collections/cdg/data/CMIP6/CMIP/NCAR/CESM2/historical/r11i1p1f1/6hrLev
/glade/campaign/collections/cdg/data/CMIP6/CMIP/NCAR/CESM2/historical/r11i1p1f1/6hrPlev
/glade/campaign/collections/cdg/data/CMIP6/CMIP/NCAR/CESM2/historical/r11i1p1f1/6hrPlevPt
/glade/campaign/collections/cdg/data/CMIP6/CMIP/NCAR/CESM2/historical/r11i1p1f1/3hr

However, I have found 6-hourly mean sea level pressure available from future CESM2 runs forced with different SSP scenarios. For example, mean sea level pressure (psl) from a CESM2 run forced with SSP585 can be found at:

/glade/campaign/collections/cdg/data/CMIP6/ScenarioMIP/NCAR/CESM2/ssp585/r11i1p1f1/6hrPlev/psl/gn/v20200528

So I'd think in theory that 6-hourly mean sea level pressure should be available somewhere for the historical period?
Thank you in advance for any help!

PSL wasn't saved from the historical runs but was saved from the SSP simulations, as instantaneous values. I've confirmed by checking the CESM output as well as the CAM output namelist.

Understood, thank you so much for the response @strandwg. One more question before I give up on sea level pressure - do you happen to know if 6-hourly surface temperature/2-meter temperature was output by the historical runs? If I have 2m temperature, I think I could calculate PSL using surface pressure and the orography. I've only found 6-hourly 3D grids of temperature on pressure levels, and I don't believe they include 2m temperature. Otherwise, I don't think it's possible to calculate 6-hourly SLP from the historical runs.
