Hi All,
There is now an updated diagnostics package available in easy to access places
on CGD machines (/fs/cgd/home0/rneale/DIAG/) and the CISL data analysis cluster nodes
gale, breeze, gust, or hail (/fs/supers/fis01/cgd/home/rneale/DIAG/). It also continues to be
available for download.
For more info and a copy of the update run script (diag080707.csh) go to the Mean Diagnostics
page on the CAM diagnostics page:
http://www.ccsm.ucar.edu/models/atm-cam/index.html
Using this updated version is particularly important for development work
as (thanks to Dennis Shea) they contain a number of more recent observational data sets. This
includes the updated CERES product (CERES2) which will now be the
default radiation product for model evaluation.
In addition Taylor diagrams are automatically produced in set14 and the
model run is compared against a default CAM3.5 or CCSM3.5 integration
depending on the value of TAYLOR_BASECASE.
It should look pretty similar to the existing version of the diagnostics.
Let me know if there are any bugs or if you have any comments.
Thanks
Rich
