use case.submit to run a case like if there is no queueing system

Hi all,

My question is related to this discussion (CTSM single-point simulation: CTSM single-point simulation) on running multiple single-point simulation using MPMD "job array". This is possible but the issue is that "./case.submit" submits the case to the queuing system.

Can the "./case.submit" run the case (like if there is no queueing system) rather than submitting it? Could you please let me know if this is possible?

I think the answer to my question is: "./case.submit --no-batch" (case.submit — CIME master documentation)

With this, I believe multiple single-point cases can be ran on a single node simultaneously with MPMD.
