value of CICE_DECOMPTYPE

Hi all,
Can some one tell me how to determine the value of CICE_DECOMPTYPE for running the FWHIST_BGC(HIST_CAM60%WCTS_CLM50%BGC-CROP_CICE%PRES_DOCN%DOM_MOSART_CISM2%NOEVOLVE_SWAV) compset? I do not really understand the meaning of CICE_DECOMPTYPE.The default value is null but it also has options to change to different values such as cartesian', 'rake', 'sectrobin', 'spacecurve', 'roundrobin', 'sectrobin', 'sectcart', 'null'. Will the different values change the science/output?
Thanks,

The CICE model is bit-for-bit across all decompositions. I am moving this to the CESM CICE forum. To change this in CESM, you need to modify CICE_AUTO_DECOMP to false in env_build.xml. Then you can change the decomposition setup.
