vegetation in AMIP configuration

Hi all,
I have two basic questions regarding the land model in AMIP configuration (compset- FAMIP/FAMIPC5; land model- CLM4.0):

a. Is vegetation in this configuration dynamic?
b. Does land use, land cover change?

Vegetation is not dynamic in this configuration (in the sense that vegetation types in a gridcell change in response to climate).
I don't think the FAMIP compsets have land use/land cover change on. If it is on, you would see the following namelist item in your lnd_in file that points to a dynamic pft file:
