(Very) negative forc_hgt_u_pft being passed into CLM (w/ CAM5 + BAM phys)?

Have been running short-term, fully coupled CESM (1.1.15 beta right now) simulations with active CAM, CLM, and data ocean with CAM4 physics (26 levels) successfully for a month now. Just today attempted to switch runscripts over to CAM5 physics (30 levels). Using chem -none and the prescribed bulk aerosol model since I'm relatively unconcerned with chemistry for the moment.

After ~8-16 model hours I get this crash:

191: aerodynamic parameter error in UrbanFluxes
191: h_u - z_d

As you, I also suspect that this is not a clm problem. Consider posting your message to one of the atmosphere threads. You could ask whether 1.1.15 beta is a good version to be running with and whether you'd be better off running with the release version, which presumably works.
