Dear WACCM Working Group Members,
The dates of the next WACCM WG meeting will be February 16-17, 2011 in NCAR's Mesa Lab, in Boulder. We will have a joint meeting with the Atmospheric Modeling Working Group on the afternoon of 2/16, and the remaining of the meeting the following day (likely a half day, depending on the number of talks).
The meeting will consist of presentations of and discussions on the state of WACCM, scientific results utilizing WACCM, updates on assessment simulations and plans for the next generation of WACCM. We are further interested in discussions of potential collaborative studies that can be conducted using WACCM or other whole atmosphere models and the possibility of inclusion of WACCM into larger-scale frameworks.
If you can attend and would like to make a short presentation on any of these topics or know of researchers who may be interested in attending, please send an email to mmills@ucar.edu. More details and an agenda will be sent out closer to the date of the meeting.
