What is the difference between qflx_evap_can and qflx_evap_veg?

Dear scientists of NCAR

What is the difference between the variable qflx_evap_can (named evaporation from leaves and stems) and the qflx_evap_veg (vegetation evaporation)? Does the vegetation include leaves and stems?

I will appreciate any help from you. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Dayon

Sorry for the slow response, out on vacation.
qflx_evap_can is evaporation from leaves and stems (so, interception loss).
qflx_evap_veg is transpiration plus evaporation from leaves and stems (total evaporation from vegetation).
