Where is the LAI-related variables from?

I carried out the commond "create_newcase -case Transit20 -compset B20TRC5 -mach xiao -res T31_gx3v7";Then, I found there are several LAI-related variables in the output file of CLM, such as "Transit20.clm2.h0.1899-02.nc",the LAI-related variables as the following: ELAI, LAISHA, LAISUN, TLAI.I want to know where are these LAI-related variables from?If I want specified a new monthly climatological LAI dataset, how I can do to implement it?Thanks.
