Where to download b40.20th.track1.1deg.008 restart file for 2050?

Dear all,
I want to use BRCP45CN compset for year 2050. But I find there's only restart files for 2005 on the web page(https://svn-ccsm-inputdata.cgd.ucar.edu/trunk/inputdata/ccsm4_init/b40.20th.track1.1deg.008/). Where can I get the restart files which does not list in the ccsm4_init list?
I'm looking for 2050 (and 2060, if it's possible) restart files for b40.20th.track1.1deg.008 case. Thank you so much!
Best regards,
Pei

 b40.20th.track1.1deg.008 is a 20th century (1850-2005) run; it doesn't have restarts for 2050 or 2060. Perhaps you're thinking of a different case?

Thank you for your reply! I did not notice that its a 20th century run. When I build a case using BRCP45CN compset, the 'b40.20th.track1.1deg.008' is the default value for "RUN_DEFCASE" variable, so I thought there might be restarts for 2050. Is there any other case I can use instead? For 2050 and with 1 degree resolution? Thanks a lot,Pei

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. There are restart sets from RCP cases that go to through model year 2100. The case b40.rcp4_5.1deg.006 actually has complete restart sets at model years 2050 and 2060. I can get them for you, if this is what you want.

Thank you so much! b40.rcp4_5.1deg.006 should work. Then I need 2010, 2050 and 2060. I want to compare the RCP45 result for 2010 and 2050 and 2010 with 2060(present VS future). But the 40~50 years run is very slow on our cluster.

The RCP4.5 run that was branched from b40.20th.track1.1deg.008 was b40.rcp4_5.1deg.001; it doesn't really matter which RCP4.5 you use of the six we ran. Andy's suggestion is fine if you specifically want 2010, 2050, and 2060.

That's great! Where can I download them? I did not find any b40.rcp4_5.1deg.00x restarts in SVN inputdata directory. And I have no access for NCAR's yellowstone computer. Thanks a lot!

I will put these on our anonymous ftp site: ftp://ftp.cgd.ucar.edu/pub/mai/ccsm4_init/ .This will take some time to download from tape. I will let you know when everything is ready.(Note: If you use ftp to access these files, your login id is "anonymous" and the password is your email address.)

These three restart sets have been downloaded to our anonymous ftp site. They are consuming 19GB. There is now 20GB of free disk space on this disk partition. So the amount of free space will nearly double when I remove your 19GB. Please let me know when you have downloaded the files so I can remove them promptly. In any case, they will be removed after one week.

Dear Mai,Can I request restart files for year 2010? I am trying to do a time slice run with new emissions, but I need initial conditions at that year. I suppose 2006 (ccsm4_init/b.e10.B20TRC5CN.f09_g16.001) is also okay for me. But it would be perfect if you can proide me initial conditions for 2010.Cheers, Alcide
