Why the soil was not frozen?

Dear all,

I am using the recent CLM of CESM 1.0.3.

The soil moisture in winter is very strange, it should be frozen in winter.

What happened to CLM?

The soil temperature looks reasonable. I attach the figures, red line is the observation, green line is CLM result.

I found the solution because I used the wrong output.
