How to control the location of fire occurrence?

I want to simulate the recovery process of NPP or GPP before and after the fire occurs.But I only found this file about the fire model input-clmforc.Li_2017_HYDEv3.2_CMIP6_hdm_0.5x0.5_AVHRR_simyr1850-2016_c180202.nc .This file contains demographic data.I would like to know how to control where the fires occur. The version of CTSM I am currently using is CESM cesm2.0-21. Thanks!
