Can TLAI influence FSNS and SOILLIQ?

I used CESM1.2.2 to simulate the changes in CO₂ concentration, and I found that TLAI became smaller. Can this phenomenon also allow more incoming shortwave radiation, leading to increased soil water evaporation?
