BIOME4 for paleoclimate simulation

Hello, guys. I want to simulate the climate of 200Ma when there was a LIP, but now I have a problem. The inputdata of BIOME4 is for LGM (temperature, precipitation, sunshine, and so on), and the PaleoToolkit Recipe tells me that we can use BIOME4 if we run a case of PETM although the timing does not match. So I want to get the answer whether we can use the inputdata of LGM to simulate the paleoclimate of other period.

This is the initial inputdata of BIOME4

No, to get paleo vegetation for a particular time period from BIOME you need to run a climate simulation for that time period. I assume what is written in the toolkit means that you can use BIOME to create PETM vegetation once you have run a PETM simulation.
