CCSM4 Mid-Holocene ice sheet

Hi, I have been looking for the variable "Fraction of Grid Cell Covered with Glacier" (variable sftgif in CMIP5 nomenclature) for the CCSM4 model (for the Mid-Holocene) on the CMIP5 server but I have not been able to find this. I must be looking at the wrong place. I have found the equivalent for the LGM setup (variable PCT_GLACIER in surfdata_0.9x1.25_lgm21ka.110107.nc at http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/working_groups/Paleo/documentation/sims-projects/cmip5-pmip3/LGM-ccsm4.html)

Where would I be able to find this variable/file?

Are you looking for "sftgif" or "PCT_GLACIER"?

Hi Gary Strand, Thank you so much. That is what I am looking for. What is the difference between sftgif and PCT_GLACIER? In the sftgif file, it also says that PCT_GLACIER is the original name.

Somehow I could not find it at https://esgf-node.llnl.gov/search/cmip5/

sftgif and PCT_GLACIER are identical. You won't find PCT_GLACIER in the CMIP5 archive, only sftgif.
