Errors with input dataset for CLM3.5-DGVM and -CN

Dear Sam,

I run ccsm3 with hybrid run, for the land model I use my new initial file which I mapped by interpinic tools (i.e from uncoupled with different resolution). Then the vegetation distribution looks start from bare ground, whereas I start from nice vegetated initial file. But, when I tried to use the initial land file from the coupled run, the vegetation looks continually start from the last simulation. Any idea why that might happen? Thank you.

Best,
Rima

The only explanation for the vegetation starting from bare ground in your hybrid run is that for some reason the land model is not using the initial file that you created. You will need to look in your scripts and find how to fix that. I cannot imagine why the model would use one initial file and not another unless the scripts look different and one of them works while the other doesn't.
