Issue about using AMWG Diagnostics Package

Dear hannay,Thanks for your reply. Yes, I set casename as "BMOZ". For the test_first_yr, I try either "2001" and "0001", but both return the same errors.I just feel confused why the package is still trying to calculate the climos data even if I turn it off (test_first_yr = 1).My CAM version is CAM4. Do you have any suggestion about which version from the repository I should use? Thank you for your help. Jian

Dear hannay,Thanks for your reply. Attached is my script. I used the latest version from the AMWG website. Thank you very much for your help and let me know if you find anything wrong. In addition, I downloaded the sample data from AWMG website but it still complains that no found of "attributes" folder and its contents. This time it does find the xxx_climo.nc files since I have directly downloaded them. However, it complains a new error saying "xxxx_ANN_climo.nc NOT FOUND". Now I'm really confused about what the "xxxx_climo.nc" files are as they are not the output from CESM run. Thank you. Jian

Hi Jian, You need to set: set test_compute_climo = 0 # (0=ON,1=OFF) set cntl_compute_climo = 0 # (0=ON,1=OFF) This will tell the package it needs to compute the climatology. The climatology are not output by CESM.  Right now, you have set your script to compute the climatology a siingle year (the year). I am not sure this is what you want to do.Cecile
