I am using CESM2.1.2 but with corrected SOAG input data (e.g. for BC, DMS, SO2) for BSSP245cmip6, BSSP360cmip6 and BSSP585cmip6, with the new files being called e.g.:
/atm/cam/chem/emis/emissions_ssp245/emissions-cmip6-SSP_DMS_other_surface_mol_175001-210101_0.9x1.25_c20190222.nc'
/atm/cam/chem/emis/emissions_ssp245/emissions-cmip6-ScenarioMIP_IAMC-MESSAGE-GLOBIOM-ssp245-1-1_SOAGx1.5_bb_surface_mol_175001-210101_0.9x1.25_c20200403.nc'
....
And the description of the changes described on CESM2 Large Ensemble Community Project (LENS2) | Community Earth System Model :
"In addition, the CESM2 code base for the SMBB simulations incorporates two sets of bug corrections that were present in the first 50 members. The first concerns the SO2, SO4, and SOAG emission datasets. Regarding SO2 and SO4, the “shipping” and “agriculture + solvents + wast” components were inadvertently swapped during the transition from historical to future period, that is, starting in 2015. etc"
I am now wondering if there are also correction files for cam input files for BSSP126cmip6 and if so where I could download them. I can see files from 2018-08-30 and from 2019-02-25 here - Revision 69041: /trunk/inputdata/atm/cam/chem/emis/emissions_ssp126 but I am unsure which version to use or which one is recommended to use (and which files are used in the latest stable CESM2.1.5 version).
