If SST_cpl_preddle impacts output fields?

Hello everyone, my CESM version is 1.2.2.
I want to modify SST boundry data to remove observational SST's(from 1979-2021) impact on atmospheric variability.
To achieve this goal, i use FAMIPC5 compset to simulate the period of 1979-2021 and modify default SST boundry data (sst_HadOIBl_bc_1x1_1850_2012_c130411.nc)

But i make a mistake, i replace "SST_cpl" in sst_HadOIBl_bc_1x1_1850_2012_c130411.nc with "SST_cpl_preddle" in sst_HadOIBl_bc_1x1_clim_c101029.nc.
but "SST_cpl_preddle" in sst_HadOIBl_bc_1x1_1850_2012_c130411.nc remains unchanged(which means it is "still observational").

i focus on monthly model output fields, could anyone tell me if SST_cpl_preddle impacts output fields?
And what's the difference between SST_cpl and SST_cpl_preddle in sst_HadOIBl_bc_1x1_clim_c101029.nc?

HBzheng, thanks for writing.

At this time, CESM1.2 and iCESM1.2 are only supported for deep time paleoclimate and water isotope applications, respectively. Are you using the model for one of those purposes? If so, I will direct this to the appropriate forum. If not, I apologize that we are no longer able to provide support for CESM1.2; we encourage you to update to the CESM2 series. See Support Policy | Community Earth System Model for support details.

Dear Lin, thanks for your reply.
I use CESM1.2 to simulate atmosphere during the period of 1979-2021 followed the protocol of AMIP. Maybe hannay can help me with this issue
