Hello, everyone!

We tried to raise the SST by 6K by using CESM1.2.1, but it failed to run. (We also tried 8K, but we met the similar error.)

The configuration is CAM5 with CLM4 (FC5), grid is ~1 degree.

The output of the debug are as follows:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
forrtl: error (65): floating invalid

The log file is attached.

***Note that we tried the following methods, but it still couldn't run successfully and showed a similar error:

(1) We removed all the sea ice (except the sea ice over the Antarctic ice sheet)

(2) We also tried a near-realistic SST increase (SST from AMIP future-4k)

(3) We closed chemistry module

We are wondering if anyone has successfully run similar cases like this?
And any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Newt
