In an attempt to compare volcanic eruptions in different climate states I want to run the BWma1850 compset with doubled CO2 concentrations before I branch off and run my ensemble of volcanic eruptions experiments. (I have already been running these eruptions using the standard BWma1850 compset.)
But, is it possible to even run the BWma1850 compset with doubled CO2 concentration?
I have tried to update to `co2vmr=569.4e-6` in `user_nl_cam`, but this give no effect.
I do see that there is the `CCSM_CO2_PPMV` value in `env_run.xml`, but in the comment of the field it says this is used only if `CLM_CO2_TYPE` is constant, which in turn has a comment saying one should not change this, and instead one should adjust the compset.
Any clearification on this would be much appriciated, thanks!
