Hi Jian, You need to set: set test_compute_climo = 0 # (0=ON,1=OFF) set cntl_compute_climo = 0 # (0=ON,1=OFF) This will tell the package it needs to compute the climatology. The climatology are not output by CESM.  Right now, you have set your script to compute the climatology a siingle year (the year). I am not sure this is what you want to do.Cecile

Dear Cecile,Thanks for your reply. In my script, I set both "test_compute_climo" and "cntl_compute_climo" to be "1" so that no climo file should be calculated. However, I still get the error like "Not found: xxxx_climo.nc". Even if I change the values to "0", it just complains that "Not found: xxxx_climo.nc" instead of calculating the climo files.I believe my settings about path are correct as shown in the former attached script. Could you send me some script that can run smoothly without any issue? Or could you tell me how you name  the CAM output file? I wonder maybe there are some restrictions there. Thank you for your help. Regards,Jian
