Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to generate surface datasets for the 0.47x0.63 resolution. However, when I run the command:
./mksurfdata.pl -res 0.47x0.63 -l /path/to/inputdata
The script immediately aborts during the initialization phase with the following error, preventing even the .namelist file from being generated:
ERROR: mapping file for this resolution does NOT exist (.../map_1km-merge-10min_HYDRO1K-merge-nomask_to_0.47x0.63_nomask_aave_da_c170914.nc)
I checked the official repository and confirmed that these files are completely missing from "Revision 70792: /trunk/inputdata/lnd/clm2/mappingdata/maps/0.47x0.63/".
I noticed in an older, now-closed forum thread that Dr. Oleson previously shared these mapping files (with the _c170914.nc suffix) via his FTP directory, but that link is no longer accessible.
Could anyone please re-upload or share the full set of mapping files for the 0.47x0.63 resolution? Alternatively, if there is a newer version of these maps available or a recommended workflow to generate them locally, any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time and help!
