Questions about land-atmosphere interaction

Dear all,

My research focuses on the climate response to land use, so I mainly modify the surface energy balance in the CLM module and view the output files from the CAM module.

However, I forgot to reflect the changes in albedo in the variables ALBD and ALBI which will export to CAM. And I found FSA in CLM and the FSNS in CAM are inconsistent. I doubt if this mistake could further disturb the atmospheric radiation balance. The climate model has simulated almost 100 years without any energy imbalance warning.

Furthermore, I would like to know which parameters between these two modules have normal imports and outputs that could ensure the correct response of the atmosphere to land use patterns.

Thanks for any advice.

Update my thoughts:

The CARMT scheme in CAM module which calculates the shortwave and longwave radiation transfer in the atmosphere uses ALBD and ALBI as the basic values to calculate each layer's absorption and reflection, so these two values are bonds between CAM and CLM.
